I'm trying a journaling format called Quantum MEmo

I'm trying a journaling format called Quantum MEmoir @quantummemoir which is based on sacred geometry. Yesterday, I had a deep core healing session with High Priestess @devragregory on Zoom where she led me through sound healing meditation. Instead of journaling with words, this method felt more expressive. Coming up with symbols to represent the spheres was a fun challenge as well... after some brainstorming, I decided mjolnir was the perfect symbol to represent the concept of "worthiness." This is a great time to go inward and heal deep emotional wounds. What methods are you using? Current situation... 💓
as an introvert, I don't hate quarantine. Just before this happened, I was asking the universe for a break from all the stress of working full-time, running multiple businesses and driving my kids to different schools every day. I asked if I could have enough income to support myself without having to spend so much time away from home. I asked for multiple streams of passive income so that I could spend time working on my goals again. The universe was like, alright witch, you want it... you got it!

When I was 30, I made a 3-part plan for goals I wanted to accomplish by the time I was 40. One is to be published or produced by a major press or network (I still have work to do on this one haha). Second is to be making money doing graphic design, which I'm doing to an extent. Third is to become self-sustaining and grow my own foods, which I had failed at so many times. I just turned 38 in March and felt the pressure of time looming over me as I spent my days laboring for someone else's dreams and neglecting my own.

So when I got laid off, suddenly I've got time to work on my businesses and homeschool my kids again, AND have extra income from unemployment, this was the perfect opportunity to focus on growing foods with the kids. It turns out Leon's preschool theme this week is "How Plants Grow" so we spent yesterday planting our seedlings that sprouted over the weekend. The kids are super excited to watch their little babies grow!

I know this time is difficult for some people, and I'm not downplaying that. But there are silver linings that we can appreciate as well. 🌿 Maybe I'll finish writing one of those books or screenplays so goal 1 can gain some traction too...

- plant a garden 🌱 grow your own food so you're not afraid of shortages, and know exactly where your veggies and herbs are sourced
- give to others 🤲 or barter/trade for goods and services with your neighbors, don't let this become an excuse to be selfish or commercialize everything
- make reusable masks 😷 to wear and donate to healthcare workers, grocery stores and others who need them (and keep the paper mask trash off the streets)
- adopt an animal 🐕‍🦺 you have nothing but time to spend with them at home
- buy postage stamps ✉ even if you don't use them, to ensure that the USPS stays operational and that mail-in voters can still have their voices heard in November (check out collector's stamps online!)
- donate to local bookstores 📖 about the price of a book that you would normally purchase, to help keep them in business after the lockdown is over (hey... that book probably would have sat on your shelf unread anyway)
- pick up food food at local restaurants 🌮 who are still open for takeout! Save deliveries for corporate chains who can eat the free delivery costs and pay for the drivers
- make your own medicine 🧄 to fight the coronavirus naturally with a strong immune system and healthy lungs
- meditate 🧘‍♀️ instead of spending the entire time in escape mode through drinking, masturbating and binge watching Netflix (although there's nothing wrong with any of that), you could spend even half an hour a day connecting to your inner self and come through better than you were before

"Stay home" doesn't mean "stay inside," we can go for walks, get fresh air and see the sun. I'm especially envious of whose who live in the country far away from neighbors where the kids can run free. For us in an apartment, it means running around the parking lot. It's the end of the first week of what would have been Spring Break for my kids... so they have been taking a break. They are making pillow forts and messes, playing video games, and breaking the "no running inside" rule, as well as our lamps. We go outside almost every day and yesterday we played hide and seek in our parking lot for half an hour. We have watched Frozen 2 about a dozen times as well as the other Disney movies they haven't seen yet. I bribe them with treats so they don't whine about not getting to go inside the stores anymore, and I bribe them with tablet time when I need to catch up on my design work that I didn't have time to do before the lockdown.
